President Travis Thomas called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Gillette certified compliance with the Open Meetings Law. Trustee Michael Hintz moved that the board enter closed session pursuant to SS. 19.85(1)(e) and (g) "deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session and conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved." Trustee Hammarlund seconded the motion. The roll-call vote recorded Joshua Behr, Jerome Hammarlund, Travis Thomas, Dennis Reinemann and Michael Hintz as voting "aye," and the board entered closed session at 6:03 p.m.
The board reconvened to open session at 6:48 p.m. after a motion by Trustee Hintz and a second by Trustee Hammarlund; the roll-call vote was recorded as unanimous. Following the closed-session discussion, the minutes state that no action was taken on the Hunter's Grove Addition developer's agreement. Trustee Hintz then moved to adjourn, Trustee Hammarlund seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
