Vandalism prompts Waldo board to lock park restrooms and set hours from dawn to dusk

Trustee Michael Hintz moved to keep the park bathrooms locked except during park rentals and to investigate the cost of renting a port-a-potty; Trustee Jerry Hammarlund seconded the motion and it carried. The minutes record the board’s directive to staff to research rental costs; no vendor or cost estimate was provided in the minutes.
Separately, after noting that the parks are not lit at night and that after-dark use is inadvisable, Trustee Hammarlund moved to set Village Park and Millpond Dam Park hours from dawn to dusk.
