Public Works Director Barry Stanley and Town Attorney Alan “Chip” Hewett raised concerns about the draft's wording, and the board voted to table the item for further work and discussion.
Commissioner Mike Hines moved to table the amendment until the March 17, 2025 meeting; Commissioner Tony Capps seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The item will return to the board on March 17 with revised language addressing the concerns identified by staff and counsel.
