The Maysville Board of Aldermen approved the consent agenda and conducted several administrative and procedural items at its April 13 meeting.
Alderman Clint Sollars moved and Alderman Amy Justus seconded approval of the consent agenda, which covered the March 17 minutes and listed check runs across Water, Wastewater, Street, General, Park, SW and Payroll funds; the motion carried. The board reviewed a rock bid and a streets list from John Miller but tabled the item so members could drive the roads and reassess priorities. The FY2025 audit was presented by City Clerk Pat Fisher-Johnson for the board’s review; no formal vote on the audit was recorded in the minutes.
The board voted unanimously to enter closed session to discuss legal matters on a motion by Alderman Amy Justus and a second by Alderman Clint Sollars; roll-call votes were recorded as yes by Conley, Zieber, Sollars and Justus. The board later moved back into open session on a motion by Alderman Justus, seconded by Alderman Darrell Conley, with roll-call votes recorded as yes by Justus, Sollars, Zieber and Conley. The clerk noted that Mayor Harwood, Alderman Zieber, Alderman Conley and the clerk will attend City Officials training in Chillicothe on May 8. The next regular meeting was scheduled for April 27, 2026.
