Maysville officials: construction approval allows dispensing water; staff to test SCADA compatibility

Stephanie Ayres, a city staff member, told the board that SCADA-system representatives were onsite to determine whether the current SCADA would work with a new connection point and that, once compatibility is confirmed, "the power to the vault can be completed." The minutes record that the City of Maysville received an approval of construction that will allow the city to dispense water; no formal vote on that approval is recorded in the minutes of the meeting.
The City Clerk reported outstanding items on Exhibit A—mainly a capital improvement plan—that must be finished. Mr. TH Bosler said he will ask DNR for an extension to complete the plan and "report back to DNR." The clerk and Ayres will begin some of the required items and will work with the F/S crew to complete others.
Board members did not take a formal vote on additional water project authorizations during the Feb. 9 meeting; the items were presented as staff updates and next steps. The board confirmed follow-up will include the SCADA compatibility check and the city pursuing the Exhibit A completion with DNR as part of the construction and compliance process.
