The Maysville Board of Aldermen met on Feb. 23, 2026, approved the consent agenda and voted unanimously to enter a closed session before returning to open session and adjourning at 8:20 p.m.
The consent agenda, approved on a motion by Alderman Clint Sollars and seconded by Alderman Larry Zieber, included the minutes of the Feb. 9 meeting and listed vendor and payroll checks: Water 7133-7142, Wastewater 3647-3654, Street 4606-4611, General 22230-22241, Park 1269-1270 and Payroll 11278-11295. The board indicated the audit draft was acceptable and ready for the auditor to finalize.
Later in the meeting Alderman Clint Sollars moved that the board go into closed session; Alderman Amy Justus seconded. A roll-call vote recorded Conley, Zieber, Sollars and Justus as voting yes and the motion carried. After the closed session Alderman Larry Zieber moved to reopen the meeting; Alderman Justus seconded and the reopening passed by a unanimous roll call. The minutes do not record the subject of the closed session.
The board set its next regular meeting for March 17, 2026. With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
