During other business on May 20, Commissioner Willard Dellicker reported he attended the Lehigh Valley (LV) General Assembly on behalf of the township and the Northwestern Lehigh School District. The meeting covered LV Government Academy classes, regional housing shortages, development trends, transportation issues, electric‑vehicle infrastructure and rails‑to‑trails initiatives.
Dellicker said Lynn Township had not submitted the requested stormwater Act 167 survey earlier in the year. Township engineer Karl Scherzberg told the commission he is already communicating with the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) and coordinating with the Road Master and Township Emergency Management Coordinator Phil Hobel to determine which historic flooding problems have been resolved and which new areas should be reported in the survey.
No formal action was recorded; staff will continue work on the survey and follow up with LVPC.
