Klamath County commissioners approve series of public-health contracts, grant agreements and bylaws

The Klamath County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 27, 2026, approved a package of agreements and bylaws covering public-health services, a domestic well assistance grant program and local advisory bodies.
Jennifer Little, director of Klamath County Public Health, presented four professional services contracts that the board approved unanimously: agreements with Barbudo Construction LLC, Bob Halls Heat + Air LLC, Seasons Change LLC and United Mechanical Contractors to provide services for the public health department. Little also presented an agreement between MetroPlus Association of Addiction Peer Professionals and Klamath County Public Health on behalf of the Local Alcohol and Drug Planning Committee; the board approved that agreement as well.
Don Beatty, finance staff, presented Klamath County Domestic Well Assistance Grant agreements; Commissioner Minty moved approval and Commissioner Nichols seconded. The board approved the grant agreements unanimously.
Todd Pfeiffer, representing the county’s weed-control function in Public Works, addressed the board about a Falls Street Division noxious weed control matter; the board approved the item after a motion by Commissioner Nichols and a second from Commissioner Minty.
The board also approved bylaws for two advisory bodies. Commissioner Minty read information and moved to adopt bylaws for the Administrative Advisory Committee; Commissioner Nichols seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board likewise approved bylaws for the Wolf Depredation Advisory Council following the same motion-and-second pattern.
All motions recorded in the meeting passed unanimously with the two commissioners present voting in favor. The approvals were taken during the agreements and other-county-business portions of the agenda.
