CNY Golf Shop proposes simulators and façade refresh; board asks for elevations, hydrant check and landscaping details

Tim Coyer of Romans Land Surveying and Monique Peterson, representing the business owner, presented a plan to add a 2,400‑square‑foot addition for three indoor golf simulators at the CNY Golf Shop & Range and to expand parking (the submittal lists about 47 spaces). The proposal also includes removing the existing mini‑golf (deemed dilapidated) and updating façades to include a stone wainscot, gray steel siding and coordinated trim.
Board members asked for confirming distances to nearby hydrants and for architectural elevations that show the new addition and the renovated façade. The applicant said they would submit updated architectural plans and detail landscaping beds and plantings; they also said the old building will be refaced to match the addition.
The board did not vote on the item and asked staff to review hydrant proximity and return comments to the applicant for incorporation into revised drawings.
