The Sanbornton Library Board of Trustees approved routine governance and program items at its Feb. 17, 2026 meeting.
By unanimous vote among trustees present, the board approved the Jan. 20, 2026 meeting minutes and recognized $117.26 in unanticipated funds. Trustee Mary Ahlgren requested adding an additional word to the account currently called "The Building Fund" to clarify that the account can be used for purposes beyond building expenses.
Trustees approved spending up to $1,700 from the Donations account for the 2026 summer reading program (motion by Mary Ahlgren, second by Diane Mason) and approved $650 for museum passes for 2026 (motion by Mary Ahlgren, second by Bob Baier). The board also agreed the library would close at 6:00 p.m. on town meeting day, March 11, 2026, so staff could attend the meeting (motion by Diane Mason, second by Bob Baier).
The meeting adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
