Selectman Ralph Carter announced that Sanbornton’s seasonal road ban will begin Monday, March 9; Town Administrator Trish Stafford said the town will publish the required notice in the newspaper.
Stafford reported the town’s transition to a new payment system is going well and reminded employees to record actual start and end times on timesheets to comply with labor laws. The Recreation Department will provide childcare at Town Meeting and 100 rental chairs will be delivered; Jon and Andy Sanborn will handle audio and the town attorney will attend. Stafford said she is awaiting confirmation of the invocation participant and asked that the Town Report dedicatee be recognized at Town Meeting. The Town Report will be available digitally tomorrow and printed the week of Town Meeting.
Stafford said she will work with Secretary Audry Barriault to project sewer rates, create a cushion for maintenance contingencies and consider a formula to more accurately charge users based on usage.
