At the regular Feb. 11 meeting, the Sanbornton Selectboard approved several administrative and procurement items.
Selectman Brandon Deacon presented a drafted request authorizing the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Committee to research an impact-fee assessment program; the board voted unanimously to approve and sign the request. Selectman Ralph Carter reported conduit quotes for the Town Park project (Green Mountain Electrical Supply $15,725 + $1,100 shipping; West Coast Supply $13,981; CED Twin State Electric $13,804) and the board unanimously authorized Carter to arrange purchase and delivery of conduit supplies up to $15,000, to be paid from grant funds.
Town Administrator Trish Stafford reported that a new payroll vendor is onsite to establish workflows and asked whether department heads should have a higher spending threshold; the board agreed to allow department head expenditures up to $10,000 with Town Administrator approval (expenditures above $10,000 will require competitive bidding). The board also approved renewing the Tax Map Maintenance Proposal with Cartographic Associates, Inc. for processing recorded data from April 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027.
