Cass County approves software update to standardize food-safety inspections

Staffford said the change is intended to make inspections more consistent by prompting inspectors to check for specific hazards instead of relying primarily on memory. The resolution authorizes the configuration services through HS GovTech Solutions and notes the work will be paid for through the existing NEHA/FDA grant. The commission recorded the vote as 3 in favor, 0 against.
