Premier Lakes reports nano-bubbler repair, increased rainy-season service and storm preparations

Bill Kurth of Premier Lakes told the River Ridge Community Development District on Aug. 27 that the lakes "appear to be in very good shape," preserves and dry retention-area maintenance are underway, and repairs to the Lake H1-B nano-bubbler — which lost prime after being turned off — will be completed the following day.
Kurth said crews removed fallen trees from the Florida Power & Light ditch and outfall structure before an impending tropical storm. Premier Lakes flagged Key Activity Items 2, 3, 4 and 5 as completed and said the company changed its service frequency from quarterly to monthly during the rainy season to increase maintenance responsiveness. Kurth and Operations Manager Shane Willis noted they will present electrical proposals for moving a compressor in the Masters Lake area; Mr. Willis said he and Mr. Alex Kurth will present the electrical portion of the project.
The report was presented out of order (it had been the Ninth Order of Business) after the board amended the agenda earlier in the meeting. The board did not take additional action on the maintenance update at the meeting but directed staff to consider the proposals when presented and to continue routine storm-preparation work.
