Sanbornton Recreation Commission approves revolving-fund spending and $20,000 repayment to town

The Sanbornton Recreation Commission on Feb. 10 approved several revolving-fund measures, including a $350 allocation for Easter supplies, $1,000 for summer day-camp spending and a $20,000 repayment to the town from recreation revenue.
Commissioner Colleen Longo moved to approve the Jan. 28, 2025 meeting minutes earlier in the session; Commissioner Kerri Federico seconded that motion and the minutes were approved. Later, Recreation Coordinator Amanda Pelissier requested $350 from the revolving fund for Easter candy and non-candy items; Federico moved and Longo seconded the spending motion, which the minutes record as "all in favor." Longo then moved to approve $1,000 for Summer Day Camp spending, seconded by Chair Jax Riendeau; that motion was also recorded as "all in favor."
Longo moved a separate motion to repay the town $20,000 out of Recreation revenue; Riendeau seconded and the motion was recorded as "all in favor." The meeting transcript does not include a roll-call tally for the votes; the minutes list three commissioners present and one selectman representative excused.
Commissioners also noted that a comprehensive financial review is on hold while the town transitions to a new financial system; November 2025 and January 2026 financials will be reviewed once the transition is complete.
The Commission adjourned at 7:58 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2026, at Old Town Hall.
