Board OKs Timeless Telecom Foundation control over veterans monument wording

A board member moved the authorization with the condition that Timeless Telecom and the POA board both approve language. The motion passed with five votes in favor and one abstention (a director who sits on the Timeless Telecom board abstained).
Staff said final placement, sizing and colors would be coordinated with the POA and appropriate staff would review the plaque before production. The board emphasized that this authorization applies only within the monument area and that existing standards for other areas remain unchanged.
