The Jackson Parish Recreation District board met in Jonesboro at noon on April 8 and handled routine business before adjourning.
Chris Womack moved and Tim Atkins seconded a motion to approve the March meeting minutes; the board voted unanimously and the motion carried. Womack then moved and Brandon Lamkin seconded a motion to approve the February financial statements; that motion also carried with all in favor. Near the end of the meeting, Lamkin moved and Atkins seconded to adjourn; the motion passed.
President Ricky Cash opened the meeting and called for public comment; none was offered. During new business, Tim Atkins asked whether the board's livestream cameras were working; members reported the cameras remained down following a recent update. The board scheduled its next meeting for Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Jackson Parish Recreation Building in Jonesboro.
