The Springfield Planning Board reviewed proposed changes to zoning text for short‑term rentals and accessory dwelling units and scheduled a public hearing for 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at the Springfield Memorial Building. Members also discussed proposed changes to the town’s Class VI and Private Roads language and referred the draft to Town Counsel for review and further consideration at the Dec. 18 meeting. Discussion of proposed changes to Solar Energy Systems was deferred because the meeting ran late.
