The Town of Babylon board opened its agenda by adopting the consensus resolution agenda and proceeded through a numbered set of routine and substantive items.
The board approved resolutions 5-07, 5-08, 5-09, 5-10, 5-12, 5-13, 5-14, 5-16, 5-17, 5-18, 5-19, 5-20, 5-21 and 5-22 by motion and voice vote; in most cases the chair called for those in favor and recorded “Aye.” Resolution 5-15 was approved following a roll-call vote with the clerk recording five yes votes and zero opposed.
Two items were set aside for further consideration: resolution 5-11 was moved and tabled to the Aug. 5 board meeting, and resolution 5-23 (the matter involving Milk and Things) was also tabled to Aug. 5 to allow negotiations between the business’s attorney and the Town Attorney’s Office.
The board’s actions were recorded as routine approvals for the listed resolutions; specific roll-call tallies were recorded where noted in the clerk’s roll call.
