Trustee Ron Murphy will chair an ad hoc committee to revise the sign ordinance, with Trustee Tony Baldridge assisting; Village Attorney Miller said he will draft proposed revisions before the committee meets for discussion. Trustee Adam Trowbridge will chair an ad hoc committee to revise the zoning ordinance with assistance from Planning and Zoning Chairman Darrell Barber; recommendations will be submitted to Attorney Miller for review.
Trustee Tony Baldridge asked trustees to proof an advertisement for an additional inspector and approve it by June 19 so Mrs. Glover can post the job description on employment sites. During the clerk report Mrs. Glover said adding a phone line for the inspector would cost $85 per month and include talk, text and data plus a complimentary iPhone 17E through T‑Mobile.
The minutes do not include draft language for the ordinances, specific timelines for committee meetings beyond the initial organizational P&Z meeting on June 11, 2026, or budget line items for a new inspector; trustees said they will return recommendations to Attorney Miller.
