Fayetteville recognizes new municipal-court staff and announces police hires and promotions

A department letter read at the meeting recognized several promotions: Lieutenant Darius Lett, Sergeant Vanessa Georgi, Corporal Charles Bush and Corporal Cedric Cawthorn. The letter praised their leadership, FTO and SWAT experience and noted the chief and other senior staff were attending the FBI National Academy graduation in Quantico.
Council and the mayor publicly thanked staff and asked that promotional photos be taken and announcements be shared with the community.
