During closing business on July 7 the commission discussed placing a rodenticide regulation on the town’s work plan, with one commissioner urging the town to consider restrictions on use to protect birds of prey and domestic pets. Staff said the topic can be posted on the town website and that initial work on a regulation has begun.
Members also reviewed the requirement to complete inland‑wetlands training within the year and discussed scheduling an invasive plant removal event in the fall. The meeting adjourned shortly afterward.
