Members clarified the committee's role: it will co‑operate with the town and vendors to schedule banner placements and will seek to avoid unnecessary replacement of banner frames or charging the town for new equipment. Staff noted the application and display timeline changes discussed in the meeting will align with a November 2026 rolling start and that some application deadlines for major projects extend into early 2027.
The committee instructed staff to keep submission dates simple and to confirm when banners will be rotated and how the town will handle display logistics. No county approvals were finalized at the meeting; the change awaits any required county or state sign-off.
