Ferguson-Florissant board hears May disbursement report; board approves monthly report

District presenter (speaker 10) reported payroll for May of $12,255,428.20 and operational disbursements of $2,775,709.27, for a combined monthly expense of $15,031,137.47. Year-to-date revenue through March was reported as $151,065,301, which the presenter described as 96% of the budget; year-to-date expenses were $132,925,145 and available budget $19,569,180.
The presenter outlined object-category year-to-date expenses including salaries ($70,947,150 year to date) with an available budget of $11,752,347; benefits $24,850,671; purchase services $18,433,946; supplies $8,635,472; and capital outlay $2,609,788. The presenter said county receipts through May showed an increase of roughly $2,000,000 compared with the prior year.
Board members moved and seconded approval of the disbursement report and the board voted in favor.
