The Surry selectmen moved to accept the July 15 meeting minutes, signed payroll and paid town bills, and confirmed a Supervisor of the Checklist during routine administrative actions recorded at the meeting.
Jay Croteau moved to accept the minutes and Steve Goldsmith seconded; the selectmen agreed to accept the minutes. The board signed payroll and paid bills as recorded in the minutes. The selectmen also confirmed Sabrina Contrady for the Supervisors of the Checklist position.
Financial and permitting records were recorded in the minutes: the town received check #123 for $25.00 from Chris Pellitier for building permit #1676, and the board signed a Land Use Change Tax (LUCT) warrant for the Ells lot on Farm Road (map 4C, lot 83) for $8,000.00. The minutes also note that Marcott and Hoyt have an outstanding driveway permit fee of $206; Selectman Steve Goldsmith said he had not been able to reach them.
Selectmen additionally reviewed construction inspections and permit revisions: Goldsmith inspected a slab foundation at Gillis (53 Farm Rd) and inspected concrete work for Garrett Nelson before backfilling; he also revised a permit for Dave Brooks (Forest Design) after a septic tank was moved. The minutes record that a computer for the Supervisors of the Checklist has been purchased and needs setup for use.
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn, which the selectmen approved; the session ended at 9:00 p.m.
