Select Board limits Hollow Pavilion fence and permits access under revocable license

The Stratford Select Board on Aug. 26 resolved boundary concerns related to a Hollow Pavilion fence project and set conditions for access to a camp access lane.
Town staff and board members discussed problems with property boundary lines created by the proposed fence and the effect on an access lane to a nearby camp. The board agreed that access would be permitted only under a revocable stipulated license, assessed at $100 per year, and that no additional fencing beyond the originally planned work would be allowed.
The motion to permit access under those conditions was recorded as approved by a 3–0 vote (moved by Harry Juergens, seconded by Charles Goulet). Board members also noted an unrelated matter recorded in the minutes: rocks placed within the Percy Road right-of-way were removed by the owner.
No formal appeals or changes to the land-use ordinance were recorded at the meeting; separate complaints alleging a possible Land Use Ordinance violation near Hollow Road and persistent dog barking at 468 US Route 3 were noted for follow-up.
