Committee plans Cyanobacteria web page, Old Home Days outreach and shared research folder

Members of the Stoddard Cyanobacteria Committee agreed to create a town 'Cyanobacteria' web page with NHDES and Lake Smart fact sheets, set up a shared Google Drive for materials, and pursue outreach through the Whitney Road association and Old Home Days garden tours.
At the June 10 meeting the Stoddard Cyanobacteria Committee agreed to centralize outreach materials and public education on cyanobacteria risks. Naomi Risch presented printed fact sheets and datasets from the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), the Lake Smart program, and the NH Soak Up The Rain program and asked that the committee link these resources on a Cyanobacteria page on the town website.
Helen Tam-Semmens supported creating the page and suggested preparing two sets of deliverables for the Planning Board. Pat Leonard said he would speak with the Whitney Road association about runoff management and will explore including Lake Smart homes on the Old Home Days garden tours, with assistance from Bob Maden and the Lessers; Steve Jacobs volunteered to pick up brochures from the state.
The committee decided Naomi will create a shared Google Drive folder and everyone should add documentation at least one week before the next meeting so members can review materials before the June 30 meeting at the Gould House. The committee also discussed exploring grants or cost-sharing options for replacements and adding erosion-control recommendations for new developments as part of its outreach materials.
