Separately, Sami described a proposed grant amendment that would extend the contract through the end of the grant period and add $17,500 to cover costs in a three‑month gap. She said the state had not yet disbursed the funds; the county will send the amendment to the grant manager and return with a budget revision after the state finalizes the award. The board voted to approve both the travel request and the grant amendment as presented.
