Staff said the town will use flexible, as‑needed requests rather than be bound to a yearlong contract.
Council members indicated they will discuss public-safety coverage further at future meetings and Administrator Cooper said the matter will appear on a future agenda for additional discussion with MSP and public-safety stakeholders.
