The Village of Slinger Parks, Recreation & Forestry Board on Nov. 3 was told staff will implement an online park reservation and payment system in 2026 using a vendor called Sports Key.
Director Tony Dobson said the department will work with Sports Key "to help us install an online park reservation and payment system" and expects to complete implementation over the next few months so the system is ready for users in 2026. Dobson said the new platform "should significantly cut down on staff time as well as provide a much more streamlined system for users." He added staff can set the system so only Village residents may reserve parks for an initial two-week window in January.
Board members discussed whether Village residents should have a residents-only reservation period but took no formal amendments; staff will proceed with vendor engagement and report back as the implementation schedule is finalized.
