The council flagged the Chesapeake City Water Tours contract, due January 2027, as needing more substantive attention. Members said they would like to see greater ferry use, possibly by adding runs and offering a resident discount. The minutes note that "DJ" plans to put better signage up for the ferry because current signage may be hidden or confusing. Rob Bernstine said he will reach out to each of the entities to negotiate and renew the listed contracts and that the Water Tours contract may require more adjustments than the others.
