Rob Bernstine told the council at the May 27 workshop that the Helen Titter Park playground installation is currently under way and that the town plans to use additional grant funding to add sidewalks, restrooms and a pavilion to make the site ADA accessible.
Councilmember Sarah Ford-Ferrara said the Blue Anchor will officially open soon and invited town officials to the opening. Mayor Rich Taylor announced that Equitable Title will hold a grand opening on June 18, 2026, and mentioned that Alan Myers has joined the Town Hall team. Councilmember Frank Vari noted the Canal Race on the Ben Cardin Trail is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 at 8 a.m. and said he and Mayor Taylor will attend the Bohemia Manor High School graduation.
Councilmember Lee Adams closed the comments by thanking staff—specifically Brian and Rob—for their work on the draft budget. The workshop minutes record these items as council comments and do not indicate formal votes or binding decisions related to events or the park improvements; the Helen Titter Park additions were described as planned uses of grant funding.
