• Appointment and swearing-in: Motion by Lee Adams, seconded by Frank Vari, to appoint Rick Webster to fill Hunter Dann’s vacated council seat (term ending July 2027). Mayor Rich Taylor swore in Councilperson Rick Webster; vote: All in favor, motion carried.
• Approval of minutes: Council approved the March 9, 2026 meeting minutes (as amended) and the March 23, 2026 workshop minutes. Rick Webster abstained from both approvals.
• Event approval: Motion by Ed O’Hara, seconded by Sarah Ford-Ferrara, to approve the Independence Day Fireworks and vendors event scheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2026; vote: All in favor, motion carried.
• Resolution 2026-001: Motion by Lee Adams, seconded by Frank Vari, to approve Resolution 2026-001 — supporting HB 1142 to establish a task force to modernize county and municipal revenue sources; vote: All in favor, motion carried.
• Resolution 2026-002: Motion by Frank Vari, seconded by Sarah Ford-Ferrara, to approve the purchase of 105 Pine St. for municipal purposes; vote: All in favor, motion carried. (See separate article for details.)
• Resolution 2026-003: Motion by Lee Adams, seconded by Ed O’Hara, to approve the sale of Parcel 0475, Lot #3 (declared surplus) and to proceed with the sale process under the terms discussed; vote: All in favor, motion carried. (See separate article for details.)
All votes recorded in the minutes indicate unanimous approval where noted; no recorded votes against or recusals were entered in the minutes except the abstentions by Councilperson Rick Webster on minutes approvals.
