The South Thomaston Select Board accepted the minutes of its previous meeting and adjourned after routine business and committee updates.
The Chair (S2) opened the meeting, asked for changes to the agenda and called for a motion to accept minutes. A motion and second were noted and the Chair said the minutes were accepted as presented. The board then reviewed old business and community projects before adjourning; S2 moved to adjourn and declared the meeting closed after hearing no objection.
The meeting included updates on an easement proposal for the town's forest reserve and a lengthy discussion of Earth Day cleanup logistics, both of which are summarized in separate articles. The board did not adopt any new ordinances or take formal votes on land-use regulations at this meeting.
The Select Board adjourned with the next procedural matters to be taken up at future meetings, and members noted a Planning Board hearing on a quarry/mineral extraction matter scheduled for 6 p.m. the following day.
