Keller contractor says offices ready mid‑March; full handover targeted for May

Mr. Fry said the firm assembled a recent schedule and a punch list and that high‑bay areas (garages, covered parking) will be turned over later. He estimated the subcontractor performing field grading will be mobilized within roughly a week and that the actual field‑adjustment work — chiefly importing soil to flatten an area and creating a 3:1 slope transition to the adjacent track — should take about a week. "We're adjusting the grading ... importing some soil ... it will be like a 3 to 1 slope," Fry said.
Council members pressed the team on erosion control, long‑term stability and what warranty remedies will exist if the field deteriorates. A Keller representative confirmed a one‑year warranty will apply and the town administrator said staff will perform an evaluation after completion to hold the contractor accountable "to ensure that it's been done proper to prevent any type of injury from sports."
Council also raised public‑access questions. Mr. Fry said the contractor can modify solid fencing to provide limited access to the north‑side restrooms when interior areas are available, and the council discussed temporary gates, paths and portable toilets as interim options."We can adjust the solid fencing to provide access," Fry said.
Ending: The council asked for regular updates and asked staff and the contractor to work on a clear public messaging plan for March town meeting that will tell residents week‑by‑week what to expect at the site.
