Oscoda County board approves small purchases, restitution corrections and museum imprest cash

At the June 11 meeting the Oscoda County Board of Commissioners approved several small budget actions and corrections.
The board amended a prior motion to authorize $100 in imprest (petty) cash from the Historical Commission fund balance for use as startup money in the Steiner Museum gift shop; the funds must be reconciled daily and will be included in the annual county audit (motion 2024‑162).
The board authorized a $75 quote from Esch’s Septic Service to rent a hand sanitation station for the July 13 Dawn Patrol Breakfast fly‑in at the Oscoda County Dennis Kauffman Memorial Airport (motion 2024‑163).
The board approved restitution account corrections: a $1,146.59 check to Fremont Insurance Company and a $50.00 check to Loyal Riders Clubhouse (motions 2024‑164 and 2024‑165).
Finally, the board approved purchasing a Dell laptop, docking station, monitor and software installation for the EMS Department from 1010 Technology Center, Inc., for $1,933.15 to be paid from the 102 Ambulance Equipment Non‑Capital budget line (motion 2024‑166). Where recorded, votes were unanimous.
