MSU Extension tells Oscoda County officials about programs, seeks volunteers for 4‑H

She highlighted program areas used by county residents—natural resources and wildlife, Michigan birding, water stewardship and harmful algal‑bloom information, community health and nutrition, mental‑health resources, anger management and budgeting courses, and programming for elected officials—and said Extension is interested in growing local 4‑H participation and is seeking volunteers to work with youth and clubs.
Commissioner Jackie Bondar noted strong participation in a local Tai Chi class at the Oscoda County Senior Center and complimented the instructor on behalf of attendees. No formal agreement or county funding action was recorded at the meeting.
