Appling County approves AirMedCare renewal and accepts donation for aquatic timing system

Commissioner Daryl Edwards moved to renew the agreement and the board approved the motion unanimously.
The board also approved accepting a $7,723.25 donation from the Appling Bullpen toward purchase of an electronic touchpad timing system for the Appling County Aquatic Center. County Attorney Tracy Brown said the Bullpen would relinquish an existing timing system valued at $4,919.00; the remaining $9,046.00 required to purchase the new system would come from the Recreation Department’s existing budget. Commissioner Daryl Edwards moved to accept the donation and allow Chairman Leslie Burch to sign a memorandum of understanding; the motion was unanimously approved.
