Appling Hope Center asks for volunteers for Jan. Point In Time canvass after reporting 13,000 meals served

Hewitt introduced Juanita Adams of Safe Harbor, who said Safe Harbor is assisting people experiencing homelessness to find housing and other resources. Adams said the organizations will run a Point In Time volunteer canvass on Jan. 26–27, 2026, to locate people who need assistance and asked for volunteers to help with canvassing and to serve at Appling Hope Center.
