Riverhead ZBA leaves one appeal open, accepts minutes and schedules next meetings

Staff said appeal 2026-012 (Jody Ordioni, 735 Manor Lane, Jamesport) was heard on June 11 and remains adjourned pending additional relief and re-noticing because questions about impervious surface coverage have not been resolved; the board agreed to leave that appeal open while staff follows up with the building department.
The board accepted the minutes of June 11, 2026 by voice vote and set its next meeting for July 23, 2026. The board also agreed to continue appeal 2026-014 (Eugene Cook, 1397 West Main Street) so the applicant can consult counsel and supply missing certificates of occupancy or other evidence; the continued hearing was scheduled for Sept. 10, 2026.
The meeting concluded after routine closing motions and an adjournment vote.
