Lincoln County commissioners approved a series of routine but material motions, including budgeted grants, board appointments and a Memorandum of Understanding with the local school district.
Key approved items included the consent agenda (minutes, assessment roll adjustments and vouchers); a $10,000 disbursement to the Lincoln County Fair Board and $5,000 to the Hamsfork Museum from Travel & Tourism funds; a $30,000 grant to Trout Unlimited for a Salt River E. coli study with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality; and the 2026 Annual Operating Plan for Wyoming Forestry Division District 4.
The board reappointed several members to county boards and commissions (Library Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, Travel & Tourism Board) and extended Recreation Board member terms under Wyoming Statutes 18-9-202. The commissioners also approved election judge pay at $17.61 per hour through the 2026 election cycle, awarded the Lincoln County Commissioners' scholarships to students at Star Valley, Cokeville and Kemmerer high schools, and approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Lincoln County School District #2 for $78,240 through June 30, 2027.
