PacifiCorp described structure design (self-supporting tangent steel lattice structures), planned upgrades to the Populus and Anticline substations, and construction logistics such as access routes and temporary multipurpose use areas.
Brown said a 29‑mile reroute is proposed near Cokeville to move the line south and that the company submitted an application to the BLM in 2024; the application is on hold pending an amendment to the BLM Resource Management Plan. "In service is set for Q4 2035," she stated when summarizing the current schedule and milestones.
PacifiCorp said it will continue to work with landowners and county officials to resolve specific concerns and provide updates as federal planning processes progress. County officials did not take action on the project at the meeting; PacifiCorp officials requested continued coordination as permitting and environmental review proceed.
