The chair presiding over the Upper Darby School District board meeting moved to approve the agenda that had been posted at least 24 hours earlier and the board approved the motion after a voice vote. "Is there a motion to approve the previously posted agenda?" the chair asked; the motion was moved, seconded and the chair announced, "Motion carried."
The chair then told members that the instruction and curriculum report was in the hands of each board member and had been made available to the public, and moved for its adoption. After a second, the chair called for the vote and said the motion carried.
The chair opened the scheduled public hearing for Upper Darby School District residents who signed in to speak, outlined a three-minute time limit per speaker and said, in accordance with policy 903, that general comments both in person and submitted would not exceed one hour. The chair noted that "There were no ones signed in."
A motion to adjourn was moved and seconded, and the chair closed the meeting by announcing it was adjourned.
