Kingsford Heights — The town council voted unanimously Oct. 27 to hire Matthew Wolf as the new town marshal following an executive-session interview process.
"It has been moved and seconded to hire Matthew Wolf as the town marshal," the chair said after the motion. Council members voted in favor; the chair noted that Wolf must give notice to his current employer, so an exact start date will be set later.
Council members also said Deputy Anna will remain first deputy marshal. The council indicated it would not move forward to add another full-time officer until the state has finalized the town’s 2026 budget approvals that affect staffing levels.
