Kingsford Heights — The Town Council adopted Ordinance 2025-007 on Nov. 24, prohibiting smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices on town-owned park property.
The measure was read on second reading by title and then again for a third and final reading. A council member moved to adopt the ordinance on third reading; after a call for public comment produced none, the council approved the ordinance unanimously.
The ordinance applies to town-owned parks and was adopted to align town policy with stated public-health and facility-use expectations. No amendments were proposed during the meeting.
