Jesse noted that a dedicated supervisor could help meet EOCR inspection standards for the jail. Several members said headcount would not increase (six employees would remain), but duties and supervisory structure would change.
A motion was offered to table the proposal until staff prepares detailed job descriptions and brings the item directly to the full commission; the committee approved the motion. Members asked staff to return with job descriptions and Gallagher projections before further action.
