Spring Valley board accepts AGR report; DPI to film district success on Feb. 11

The Spring Valley School Board accepted the district's 2025–26 fall/winter Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) Report at its Jan. 14 meeting and learned that the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction will visit the district Feb. 11 to film and interview staff and students for a DPI video highlighting district achievements.
Elementary Principal Nicole Lamb presented the AGR report; Stacy Schultz moved to accept the report and Emily Collins seconded the motion, which carried. Later in the meeting MS/HS Principal Chris Segerstrom reported that DPI is recognizing the district for student outcome and assessment success and that DPI staff will be on campus on Feb. 11 for interviews for a DPI-created celebratory video.
The minutes do not include AGR report metrics, findings, or improvement targets; the approval records only that the report was presented and accepted as presented. The DPI visit is scheduled for Feb. 11 as part of DPI's outreach to recognize strong-performing Wisconsin schools.
