Dr. Bidding delivered an operations and safety update and showed drone footage of ongoing capital work across the district.
He reported two roof projects and four asphalt projects are underway, with rain causing some delays but contractors indicating overall schedule resilience. Bidding said crews have started site work at Maple Creek and that Arcola roof work has revealed additional complexities but remains in progress; he also reported Huntertown electric work is progressing.
Bidding said that by the board's next meeting in July, some projects will begin vertical construction as metal beams and underground rough-ins are scheduled to arrive. He emphasized the district is monitoring contractor progress amid summer weather impacts.
