The report recommended 17 certified and 29 classified hires, additional positions for Carroll High School summer school (an additional English teacher and custodial nurse), and staffing changes to support special-education transportation (an additional bus driver). Minor also described two position amendments: adding 10 summer days for the CHS athletics secretary and converting a part-time 12-month transportation administrative assistant to a full-time 12-month administrative assistant to shift clerical tasks away from the lead mechanic.
The board approved items 7.1 through 7.14 as presented by voice vote.
