Glen Echo council approves FY24 budget amendment, selects elevator vendor

The Town of Glen Echo Council unanimously approved a FY24 budget amendment and selected an elevator vendor at its July 10, 2024 meeting.
Councilmember Dawn Tanner moved to approve the FY24 budget amendment; Councilmember Matt Stiglitz seconded and the motion passed 3-0. The motion addressed allocation adjustments noted in the financial report and was presented following a review by town staff and the finance presenter, Eva Webb.
The council also approved the June meeting minutes on a 3-0 vote after a motion by Councilmember Matt Stiglitz and a second from Councilmember Julia Wilson.
On capital procurement, the council reviewed elevator proposals and directed staff to select Preferred Elevator contingent on satisfactory references and warranty terms. Councilmember Matt Stiglitz moved to select Preferred Elevator; Councilmember Dawn Tanner seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn by Councilmember Matt Stiglitz, seconded by Councilmember Julia Wilson; the adjournment carried 3-0 and the meeting ended at 9:09 p.m.
